Odoo's discussion module allows you to create public and private channels. Public channels can be joined by any employee, while private channels require an invitation from the channel owner. You can customize notifications to minimize mailbox pollution, while still making sure important messages get through. You can also specify who gets what message and when. The discussion module also allows you to continue chatting within other Odoo modules.
