About
BackuPHP allows users to store an encrypted backup of their web server data and upload it to the AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud. The data is saved to an AWS S3 storage and is encrypted securely (ZIP with AES or Advanced Encryption Standard) before it even leaves the user's server. This, therefore, restricts even BackuPHP and other parties from accessing user data. The process requires a password from the user when the data is encrypted and is also needed for decryption and restoration.
Users can set up BackuPHP by uploading a single file to their web server and adding some javascript to their homepage. The tool also has features to update only when some changes have been made. The users can select frequencies of backups, total backup size, and extended restore schedules.
Users can access their backups by navigating to a link and providing their license key.
